This refuse dump is located in the heart of Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, Southeast of Nigeria. The frequent incineration sends large volumes of smoke into the neighborhood. In this neighborhood, there are children, residential buildings and a large primary school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This refuse dump is located in the neighbourhood of New Layout Primary School. Abakaliki, Nigeria. Here scavenging for old bottles, broken plastics etc are a popular practice. This is Iyi-Udene River that runs through part of Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
